Judical improves again!

Elite Racing Club's remarkably prolific sprinter Judicial has been awarded his highest-ever official rating of 111, further to his latest win, in the Listed Queensferry Stakes at Chester, on Monday, 10 August.

The win was the sixteenth to date in Judicial's long and fruitful career, and was comfortably achieved in spite of carrying a penalty for his Group 3 success in the Chipchase Stakes at Newcastle. Despite giving weight away, the eight-year-old homebred also confirmed his form over the consistent Major Jumbo, having beaten him twice previously this season.

It will be interesting to see where trainer Julie Camacho will aim Judicial next. He holds an entry in Beverley's Listed Bullet Stakes next week (a race he won last year), but Julie is currently considering other race options, including the Group 1 Haydock Sprint Cup in September.
