Fourth win for Viola!

Viola added a fourth career win to her impressive CV when landing the Class 2 Oaks Trial Fillies' Handicap at Southwell on Tuesday 7 December.

The win came just five weeks after the Club's homebred four-year-old filly recorded her first black type when third in a Listed race at Lingfield, confirming that she is heading the right way. It was also a first success for a Club horse on Southwell's newly-laid Tapeta surface.

Viola's trainer, James Fanshawe, is keeping options open for Viola, who won at Southwell off a career-high handicap rating of 90, and we look forward to following her progress.

Congratulations to all Club Members for this latest win - the eleventh in Club colours in 2021 - and well done to James and all the team at Pegasus Stables, and of course, Viola.
