Three Club winners in four weeks!
13 August 2019
Elite Racing Club's roll of summer form continued when the homebred three-year-old filly, Sincerity, broke her duck on her handicap debut at Ffos Las today. Her success was the latest in what has been something of a purple patch for Elite Racing Club in recent weeks, following the wins of fellow Club homebreds, Judicial and Mon Frere.
Since making her debut at Nottingham at the end of April, the daughter of Iffraaj has shown glimmers of promise, and having patiently sat on the sidelines through the recent dry spell, last week's rain eased the going sufficiently for trainer James Fanshawe to make a number of entries for her.
Under a very good ride from Tom Marquand, Sincerity stayed on very well at the close and as one out of the Club broodmare Affinity, a winning Sadler's Wells half-sister to Soviet Song, time may prove that Sincerity may stay further than the 1m 2f she ran over at Ffos Las. This victory was the Club's sixth to date in 2019, and the fifth individual winner in the same period.
Congratulations to all Club Members, jockey Tom Marquand and trainer James Fanshawe and the team at Pegasus Stables.
