Super star sprint siblings running this weekend

This is an exciting weekend for the Club, with Marsha taking part in the Group 2 Sapphire Stakes on Oaks day at the Curragh tomorrow, and Judicial running in his first Listed race at York.

Judicial gets things underway for Club Members in the City Walls Stakes at 4.15, televised live on ITV Racing. He has won his last three races and has broken two track records in the process, so confidence is high for a good run going into tomorrow's race. He is partnered by the up and coming Joe Doyle, who has formed a great relationship with our nine-time homebred winner. They represent the excellent Julie Camacho team, who have done so well with our quirky horse, who needs to be kept as calm as possible at all times, until the final furlong!

Marsha lines up for the Sapphire Stakes, which looks the weakest race on paper she has contested for twelve months. She is running after a hard race in extreme heat at Royal Ascot, where she finished third in the Group 1 King's Stand Stakes behind the lightning Lady Aurelia. Marsha is again partnered by Luke Morris, who is also a massive part of her success story.

Both horses are out of Club broodmare Marlinka, who is a golden asset for the Club. Her three foals of racing age have won a staggering 16 races between them, and we hope there is a chance that this total can be exceeded tomorrow.

We are still celebrating yesterday's win by Tribute Act at Doncaster, who has now won three of her four races. At Doncaster, she won a Class 4 handicap on ground livelier than ideal, just leading in the shadow of the post to record a comfortable, if heart-stopping success.

We hope both horses return home safe and sound this weekend and run well for our Members. Good luck to all connections!
