JUDICIAL BREAKS CLUB RECORD

JUDICIAL BREAKS CLUB RECORD

04 September 2019

Elite Racing Club's talented sprinter Judicial has already broken two track records in his long and successful career to date, but he wrote himself into Club history on Saturday, 31 August, when he won the Listed Beverley Bullet Sprint.

The victory was the 13th of Judicial's career, which makes him the most-winning Club horse to date. In reaching 13 wins, Judicial surpassed the decade-long record of retired Club sprinting star, Eisteddfod, who like Judicial, is a Group 3-winning homebred from the Club's ultra-successful breeding programme.

Judicial's rating has been increased to 107 on the back of his Beverley win and hopefully the weather can stay on his side before the season's end. He has an early entry in the Group 1 Flying Five Stakes at The Curragh on Sunday, 15 September, but he looks likelier to line up in the Group 3 World Trophy at Newbury the following weekend.

Congratulations for this latest success to all Elite Racing Club Members, Julie Camacho, Steve Brown and all the team at Star Cottage, and also to trainer Roger Charlton, whose team at Beckhampton Stables trained Judicial to winning effect as a two-year-old.
