Elite Racing Club's most prolific winner to date, Judicial added a 15th win to his impressive CV when landing the Group 3 Chipchase Stakes at Newcastle's Northumberland Plate meeting last Saturday, 29 June.

Building on a fine staying-on second on his seasonal debut in the Group 3 Palace House Stakes at Newmarket's Guineas meeting, the step up to six furlongs for this latest win suited Judicial to a tee as he ran on well at the close to win a shade cosily from the Group 1 winner, Brando.

The victory was also the homebred Judicial's second in Group company, having won the Group 3 Coral Charge Stakes at Sandown in 2018, and was a feather in the cap for the Club's breeding programme. It was also a poignant moment, as it was the first win for one of Marlinka's offspring since her sad and premature passing earlier this year.

The Chipchase win looked to be a career-best performance from Judicial and the handicapper agreed, raising the eight-year-old's official BHA rating to 110, his highest mark to date, and it will be interesting to see what options lie ahead for this high-class sprinter, with a number of top sprints scheduled in the coming weeks, including the Group 1 July Cup.

Congratulations to all Elite Racing Club Members for this latest success, plus trainer Julie Camacho, Steve Brown and all the team at Star Cottage Stables, and, of course, Judicial.
